How does the design approval process work?

Overview
After customising your cover you'll see your instant on-screen quote. From here you have two options:
- Add to cart: checkout and make payment to complete your order. Your designs will follow within 24 hours.
- Request free design (found immediately below the add to cart button): enter your name and email address only, no payment is required and there's no obligation to proceed beyond receiving your free designs - read more about our free design service. Your designs will follow within 24 hours.
If further information is required:
We may occasionally need to contact you if further information or clarification is needed to complete your designs. Keep in mind this may impact our 24 hour design turnaround if we don't hear back from you right away.
Design approval
When your designs are ready, we'll contact you via email with a link. Follow the link to preview and download your designs on our website. Designs are supplied in JPG and PDF formats. From here you'll have two options:
- Approve: if you're happy with your designs simply click Approve.
- If you have already paid: your order will go straight into the factory for production without delay. We'll send you an email to confirm that your approval has been received.
- If you requested free designs: we'll follow up with an email link to complete payment. There is no obligation to proceed beyond this point but if you decide to go ahead and pay, your order will go straight into the factory for production as soon as payment is received.
- Amendment Required: if the design isn't correct or you need to make changes — add notes detailing the changes and optionally upload any images or diagrams that you think may help us better understand the issue, then click Request Amendment. It's not uncommon after reviewing your design that changes need to be made for one reason or another - this is why the design process is an essential part of our service. We offer unlimited amends and absolutely nothing goes to production until you're entirely satisfied.
If there is an issue with your design:
Click request amendment or contact us with any queries by replying to the design approval email. Do not click approve if you are not entirely satisfied — approved designs are sent straight to production and no further amendments can be made after this stage.
What happens after approval?
Once your order has been paid for and approved it will be sent straight into production. No further amendments can be made after approval. We'll keep you updated as your order passes through production and is prepared for shipping. When it ships, we'll send tracking information to you via email and SMS (if a mobile number has been supplied).
